          The approach of the New Year is for many of us a reason for a resolution to change something in our lives. If you look in a women's or health magazine, or in the adverts in the media or on the web, there are resolutions everywhere: improve your image, lose weight, improve your diet, stop smoking, go to the gym, start a new hobby, learn a new language. But if we want to keep our resolutions,we need to make them smartly..

         A very important factor is 'why' we decide to make that resolution. The 'why' determines the motivation; it is what will enable us to keep going even when the going gets tough. But 'why' has also to be inserted in the right frame in order to be effective.

          Mother language has a very powerful impact in the formation of the individual. Our first language, the beautiful sounds of which one hears and gets familiar with before being born while in the womb, has such an important role in shaping our thoughts and emotions. A child’s psychological and personality development will depend upon what has been conveyed through the mother tongue. With this in mind, as psychologists say, it matters tremendously that language expressions and vocabulary are chosen with care when we talk to children. A child’s first comprehension of the world around him, the learning of concepts and skills, and his perception of existence, starts with the language that is first taught to him, his mother tongue. In the same manner, a child expresses his first feelings, his happiness, fears, and his first words through his mother tongue. Mother language has such an important role in framing our thinking, emotions and spiritual world, because the most important stage of our life, childhood, is spent in its imprints. A strong bond between a child and his parents (especially mother) is established by virtue of love, compassion, body language, and also through the most important one, which is the verbal language. When a person speaks their mother tongue, a direct connection establishes between heart, brain and tongue. Our personality, character, modesty, shyness, defects, our skills, and all other hidden characteristics become truly revealed through the mother tongue because the sound of the mother tongue in the ear and its meaning in the heart give us trust and confidence.

          Gender equality and women’s empowerment are fundamental to the global mission of the United Nations to achieve equal rights and dignity for all... But equality for women and girls is also an economic and social imperative. Until women and girls are liberated from poverty and injustice, all our goals -- peace, security, sustainable development ‘Equal rights, Equal opportunities: Progress for all.’ In theory, it’s a day for celebrating the strength and progress of women around the world, but I have to stop and wonder in disbelief, how do we celebrate women having equal rights, equal opportunities.
           Discrimination towards women and girls, or what is known as gender-based discrimination, is one of the most pervasive human rights violations. It severely limits the ability of women, girls and the communities they live in to protect and promote their health.

Responding to climate change

          Climate is the average condition of the atmosphere for a longer period of time. Climate is a weather condition. Climate described in terms of rainfall, temperature, wind systems, and weather disturbances. Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical diatribution of weather patterns over period ranging from decades to millions of years.
          Within scientific journals, however, global warming refers to surface temperature increases, while climate change includes global warming and everything else that increasing green house gas ammount will affect.

              Now a days many students using technologies. Example Internet,  computers, laptops and etc.  Through this we can improve our own grammar. And through this we can finish our work faster.

SONA of our President 2011

                          SONA is an online experiment management a system that automates all aspects of scheduling and managing studies.
                          President Benigno Simeon Aquino III delivered his second SONA. SONA is a "State of the Nation Address" or "Talumpati sa Kalagayan ng Bansa". But I think the SONA was centered on the need to go back to basics as a President to solve problems. But for SONA he promised the SONA was never straight to the point and left a lot of things.
